NAIT Academic Staff Association Rally

The NAIT Academic Staff Association (NASA) is holding a rally on May 1st from 11:30 am until 1 pm outside of NAIT, along the stretch of 106th Street between 118 Ave and Princess Elizabeth Ave. NASA is currently in contract negotiations and is looking for support in its efforts to improve wages, workload, and job security, as well as support to call on NAIT to stop stalling and the labour board and to come to the negotiating table.

Annual May Day Rally and March

The annual May Day rally and march will be starting at Dr. Wilbert Mcintyre Park (8331 104 St NW) on May 1st at 5:30 pm. Speakers will commence at 6 pm and the march will be on Whyte Ave. Refreshments and cash bar will follow at Strathcona Community Hall (10139 87 Ave).
