CUPW Local 730 as well as their partners the City of Edmonton and the Edmonton Horticultural Society are launching a new year of Front Yards in Bloom. This is a beloved tradition for gardners, yard enthusiasts, and community members. It's also easy to take part! Help by nominating a customer's beautiful yard, public space, or balcony along your delivery route or in your community. Lawn signs will be placed on nominated yards and nominees will receive a brochure of recognition.

RSMC Regional Conference

 

The Urban Pre-Negotiations Regional Conference wrapped up last week and next week is the RSMC Pre-Negotiations Regional Conference (June 14th-16th). At the May GMM, a full delegation of RSMC members was elected to attend this Conference, and this is the first time we've been able to do this. Thank you to everyone taking part!

 

EMPP Consultations

Canadian Association of Labour Media Awards 2023

 

I am very pleased to announce that our Local's Communications Committee was recognized at the 2023 CALM Awards! The Committee received the 2023 Rosemarie Bahr award for excellence in print layout and design in regular print publication for imaginative and effective use of graphics, cartoons, photography, typography and layout (volunteer produced).
