Many of you may have received a letter from People Corporation and Coughlin.

As stated in the first paragraph:

“We are writing to inform you, as a current or former plan member, of an incident that may have affected the privacy of your personal information held by People Corporation, a company that provides group benefit services for Coughlin.”

Coughlin and People Corporation have taken all the steps required under current laws to ensure our members received this information and understand the situation.  

Should you have concerns regarding the breech of your personal information, please contact Coughlin at their dedicated assistance line at 1‑833‑575‑1966 Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. eastern time.

Coughlin has assured CUPW that new security enhancements have been made to their systems to ensure the confidentiality of members’ personal information is protected.
